PROFESSIONAL JOURNEY

My journey into this profession has been deeply fulfilling. Navigating my own multiple cultural identities, systemic barriers, and moments of uncertainty has given me firsthand insight into the emotional and mental health challenges many people carry quietly on their own. This lived experience fuels my passion to provide compassionate, understanding support—helping others feel seen, heard, and empowered on their path to healing.

APPROACH TO THERAPY

My approach to therapy blends tools from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic, and person-centered therapy, all grounded in a feminist, trauma-informed framework. I come from a place of cultural humility, deeply aware of how systemic oppression, identity, and lived experiences shape each person’s journey. Together, we’ll create a compassionate, safe space where your whole self is honored, and healing feels authentic and empowering.

COMMUNITIES

I primarily work with immigrant communities, mothers, and individuals navigating trauma. I’m especially passionate about supporting Arabic-speaking clients, international students, and those facing identity-related challenges—whether around gender, adjustment, or cultural transitions. My work is deeply rooted in social justice, cultural humility, and trauma-informed care, creating a space where every person feels seen, valued, and supported on their unique journey.

PERSONAL INTERESTS

Outside of work, I love spending time with my cats and dogs—they bring so much joy and comfort to my days. I also enjoy reading, writing, and cooking with my family. These simple pleasures bring warmth and meaning to my everyday life.
