PROFESSIONAL JOURNEY

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), a National Certified Counselor (NCC), and an Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS) with over ten years of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. I specializes in supporting individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder, developmental disabilities, ADHD, grief, anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral challenges. Originally from Colorado and a mom of soon-to-be three, my passion for helping others grew from my experience in a large, loving, and often chaotic family, where I naturally took on the role of emotional support for those around me. As a clinical supervisor, I have spent the last five years mentoring interns and provisionally licensed professionals, providing over 1,000 hours of supervision to 37 individuals. I am passionate about guiding the next generation of mental health professionals and am dedicated to fostering growth, resilience, and understanding in my clients and team alike.

APPROACH TO THERAPY

I view therapy as a deeply collaborative and compassionate process, guided by the belief that every individual deserves a space to feel heard, valued, and supported. I take a person-centered approach, tailoring each session to meet my client’s unique needs and goals, while fostering a warm, nonjudgmental environment. Drawing from techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Applied Behavior Analysis, attachment and creative exploration, I work to help clients overcome barriers and build meaningful connections at home, in the classroom, and in their communities. My experience at both Children’s Hospital Colorado and Judi’s House have shaped my understanding of the profound challenges individuals face, and I approach each client with empathy, patience, and a genuine commitment to their growth and healing.
